People and Culture
We believe that about our company and our people. Diversity of thought and experience make great work even stronger and more resonant in today’s ever-changing world. It challenges us to overcome our biases and personal preferences in service of doing something bigger and better as a unified team. We want every Madwellian—and every client—to feel comfortable showing up as their most authentic selves with their full brains and hearts engaged.
Being different makes a difference.
We live our values.
Which is why we only have three. They may seem simple, but they serve to keep us honest about ourselves and our work.
Show up.
In word and deed with authenticity and humility. We are all responsible for what we put out into the universe.
Be open.
To having your mind changed. To experimentation. To finding human truths in new experiences and with new people.
Stay curious.
Replication stymies creativity—never be afraid to ask, “What if we tried something different?”
Changing the paradigm one day at a time.
We recognize the profound need to interrogate our privilege and create a framework that would push us towards a brighter, more equitable future. To do this, we formed our DEI Panel and established a network of ERGs (Employee Resource Groups). Together, these ongoing initiatives are allowing us to deploy all of our resources—time, money, connections, creativity, compassion—for the betterment of ourselves, our work, our client relationships, and even to some small degree, the world.
What makes a Madwellian?
Some agencies are preoccupied with where folks have been and what awards they’ve won. Since we’re decidedly not an agency, we don’t really care about that. We care about everyone’s unique spark—the glittering nugget that makes them a brilliant thinker and a bold doer. Regardless of whether they’ve worked in fashion or finance, every Madwellian is always willing to challenge themselves and try something new. And we wouldn’t be here without that grit and guile.
